This year, MaxCDN is attending and speaking at WordCamp Belgrade 2015 as a Gold sponsor. Like all WordCamps held globally, this event will feature WordPress advocates who believe in a faster web that’s both open and secure.

What We’re Teaching Attendees
At WordCamp Belgrade, we will be representing MaxCDN’s Serbian team by doing a workshop on Day 2 of the event.

We’ll be bringing the reverse proxy logic close to people, showing attendees the reverse proxy caching system from the ground up. We’ll be demonstrating caching on a request basis (as we do in MaxCDN) and how it affects website speed.

Additionally, we’ll be describing DNS (focused on Anycast), showing network debugging methods and performance measuring methods.

What Else You Will Learn
In addition to learning about reverse proxy logic at WordCamp Belgrade, attendees will also learn about things like HTTP/2, usability testing on WordPress, and building SaaS with WordPress. For a list of topics being presented, feel free to visit the official speakers page.

As the general manager of our Serbian office, I’m very excited to be attending and conducting a workshop. I also look forward to answering any WordPress-related questions.

If you have questions about any of the topics mentioned above and want to get things started early, feel free to leave a comment below. See you in Belgrade!
